
Situated in the village of Beddgelert at the foot of Snowdon and built on the banks of the River Glaslyn, Si Yr Afon (which means “Murmur of the River”) is one of a row of stone-built Grade II listed cottages that provides self catering holiday accommodation for up to 6 people.
Si Yr Afon has a fantastic riverside location, is set amidst stunning scenery, and is an ideal base for a restful and relaxing holiday in and around Beddgelert, and for exploring the Snowdonia National Park and the sights of North Wales.

Accommodation
Downstairs is a large open plan lounge/diner with exposed beams, stone fireplace & open coal fire, sofa & easy chairs, dining area and television.
There is also a separate sitting room, with another television, comfy seating, and outlook to the river.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, full-size electric cooker, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. There is plenty of storage, and all culinary equipment and kitchen essentials. Kitchen cleaning equipment is provided, including tea towels.
A French door from the lounge/diner leads onto a patio which overlooks the river Glaslyn. From the patio, steps lead down to a large paved area beside the river, and another set of steps gives access to the water.
Upstairs are three bedrooms. One bedroom has two single beds, and looks out over a row of cottages built for copper miners in the 1830s.
The other two bedrooms at the back of the cottage both have double beds, and spectacular views over the river and mountains.
There are also two shower rooms, both of which have a toilet, washbasin, and an electric shower.
Please note that Si Yr Afon is non smoking, and is not suitable for children under 5 years of age.
The cottage is maintained by the owners (who live next door).
