Frondeg is a grade II listed cottage located in the centre of the pretty village of Beddgelert in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, just 4 miles from the summit of Snowdon. It has recently been renovated throughout to a very high standard and offers ideal non smoking accommodation for a self catering holiday in North Wales.
The ground floor comprises a large open plan lounge/kitchen. The lounge area is comfortably furnished and equipped with a 36” flat screen TV, a full Sky television package, DVD and CD players. The facilities in the modern kitchen area include an oil fired Aga style cooker, (plus an extra small hob and oven for those not happy with an Aga) fridge, washer/dryer and microwave. A kettle and a toaster are also provided, plus the usual range of crockery, cutlery, pot, pans and other kitchenalia and utensils.
Stairs from the lounge lead to the first floor where there are two bedrooms each with a double bed, plus a fold up guest bed with bedding, and a well fitted bathroom comprising a ‘slipper’ or modern high backed bath with shower attachment, basin and toilet. Bed linen is provided, but please bring your own towels.
Heating and hot water are generated by the cooker, and the cottage boasts an original stone fireplace with a woodburning stove. The bedrooms are also fitted with convector heaters for added comfort. The fuel oil and electricity are included in the tariff, and logs for the stove are available in the village.
Outside there is a patio/sitting out area with a table and 4 chairs.
There is some on road car parking space available, and there is a free car park 200 yards away.
Parking can be arranged.
Heating is by AGA cookes and woodburning stove.
