Popular walking routes such as the 'Snowdon Horseshoe' are also only twenty minutes walk away, which makes Bryn Eglwys an ideal spot for those with mountaineering in mind. However, for those less adventurous, there are many short walks, locally including Beddgelert Forest, Gelert's Grave and the breathtaking Aberglaslyn Pass.
