Get down and dirty with the National Trust! A day of activities aimed at getting young people and their families to make the most of their natural surroundings. From orienteering to outdoor bread making, there’ll be something for everyone. Activities start at 11:00 am and run until 4:00 pm

The Snowdonia Society’s 27th Dry Stone Walling Competition will be held on Sunday 13 June at Hafod y Llan farm, sponsored by RWE npower and The Cemlyn Jones Trust and supported once again by the National Trust and the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain.

Cost: £3 for adults (over 16 years) and £2 for children
You will be guided up the mountainous pastures of the estate and see the remains of the 18th Century Goldmines, before returning past the Black Falls, having heard of the significance and historic importance of these sites during the journey, by the experienced National Trust guides.

As part of the National Trust’s Food Glorious Food campaign, we have been holding a series of cookery workshops. The next of these will be in the Ty’n y Coed Hotel, Capel Curig.starting at 7.00 pm. Elwen Robert of Hybu Cig Cymru will be tempting the tastebuds with local Spring dishes for you to try out at home.
