A Taste of the Seasons - Capel Curig 20 April 2010

As part of the National Trust’s Food Glorious Food campaign, we have been holding a series of cookery workshops. The next of these will be in the Ty’n y Coed Hotel, Capel Curig.starting at 7.00 pm. Elwen Robert of Hybu Cig Cymru will be tempting the tastebuds with local Spring dishes for you to try out at home.

Get down and dirty with the National Trust! A day of activities aimed at getting young people and their families to make the most of their natural surroundings. From orienteering to outdoor bread making, there’ll be something for everyone. Activities start at 11:00 am and run until 4:00 pm

Craflwyn Christmas Fair 28 November 2009
Location: Craflwyn

Time: 11.00 to 16.00

Cost: Entry £2.50 for adults and 50p for children
Following the success of last year’s fair we have decided to hold another! Make your Christmas as sustainable as possible by supporting local trade. Visitors will find a range of high quality crafts and food stuffs for the festive season.
Halloween Supper 30 October 2009
Location: Canolfan Deilen Las

Cost: All tickets £15.00 or £13 if in fancy dress
Halloween for the grown ups! Scare yourself with an evening of scary stories as told by story teller…. . Followed by a seasonal supper of Welsh sausage and mash and washed down by a glass of local Purple Moose beer

Moth Night 26 June 2009

Come and help the National Trust record the moths in our oakwoods and learn more about the nighttime habits of these fascinating creatures
Moel Eilio Race 16 May 2009
Location: Start in Llanberis

Time: Registration will open at 10.00 am to presentation of prizes will be at approximately 15.30 in the Heights Hotel

Cost: A minimum donation of £4
8 miles race on the Moel Eilio ridge or there is an alternative charity walk up Moel Eilio to raise funds for Cancer research.
Drystone walling course 13 May to 14 May 2009
Location: Egryn

Time: 9am to 5pm

Cost: £60
The National Trust will be running a series of training days to help with learning and developing dry stone walling skills. These sessions will be held at Egryn, near Talybont Cost £60 for the two days. Only 10 places available
