Ty Isaf is owned by the National Trust. Although a shop selling a mixture of NT products and locally sourced crafts, it also has museum status. It is the oldest property in the village, and has proof via a bill of sale that it dates back to the 15th century, although it is suspected that it dates back many centuries before this date.
The shop sells a variety of items from Welsh jams and cheese to locally turned wood craft items and stunning peg loom rugs and, baskets and draft excluders. The upper floor of the building is worth a visit to look at the architecture. There are low beams throughout the building, so please mind your head!
